Scheme for multiple solid state relays controlled by MCU – I need to control multiple AC mains power terminals which are going to power DC power supplies. The aim of the control is just to switch OFF or ON the power for the DC power supplies when needed(not a nonstop ON OFF). So basically the idea is cut their electricity by a microcontroller board such as Arduino board’s digital outputs. Total number can be around six but for simplicity, I drew a diagram for three. Modbus communication circuit – I am trying to communicate Modbus communication with PIC16F886/PIC18F24k40/PIC16F1938.I tested my code with MAX482 and SN75176A non-isolated version of the IC and it is working fine. Now I am testing same code with DE controlled using ADM 2483. A non-isolated version could not able to communicate. Is there any proven circuit or IC where it has been tested with above controller in an isolated version? Read more

Can this scheme be used to control multiple solenoids? – I need to control eight solenoid-valves for water drainage outdoors remotely and simultaneously. The valves are normally closed (NC) type which I guess in that context means they open and let the water drain only when they receive ON signal at their input. Read more

Data and clock synchronization using 74HC4046 PLL – I am using HDB3 decoder IC for HDB3 to TTL/NRZL convertor for synchronization I need to use 74HC4046 PLL IC. Converting 150,000hz 3.3V 19.38mA DC to 20 V .2A AC – I already tried a Half Bridge and Full Bridge Rectifier, but the 3MHz N channel MOSFETs I bought, were not fast enough for some reason. All the ICs that I’ve found for the 150kHz range, top out at .1 A output for some reason. Read more
Noise calculation using HSpice – How many types of noise can we calculate using HSpice? I am focussing on CMOS inverter circuit. I have pre and post (with RC components) circuit file, a testbench, and model file.
