Buzzers cut through background noise up to 100 dB

November 12, 2024 By Redding Traiger

Raltron announces the release of the RBE Series of electromagnetic buzzers. Designed for applications requiring high Sound Pressure Level (SPL) buzzers and alarms, the RBE Series offers some of the loudest devices in the industry, making them ideal for smoke detectors and fire alarm systems, industrial control panels and equipment, medical devices and healthcare systems, security systems, smart home, IoT devices and more.

These high-performance buzzers operate in a frequency range of 2800 – 4000 Hz, providing a clear, distinct tone that can cut through background noise. Where most high-performance buzzers feature SPLs up to 90 dB, the RBE Series offers sixteen models with SPLs of 90 dB and above, up to 100 dB.

Designed to operate efficiently within specific voltage ranges, the RBE Series features operating voltages of 3, 5, 9, 12, 24, and 48 VDC. Available in through-hole, surface mount, wired, quick tab, and screw lug configurations, Raltron supports internally driven buzzers from 14mm to 60mm diameter.

Supported by a global network of Reps and distributors, Raltron also provides tailored solutions backed by strong engineering support for product development.
