Finger stock EMI gaskets come in over 100 standard profiles

January 31, 2017 By Lee Teschler Leave a Comment

EMI shielding BeCu finger stock gaskets from Tech-Etch are offered in over 100 standard profiles. Downloadable interactive sales drawings let users modify the strips to exact requirements.

tech etch finger gasketsBeryllium copper’s mechanical and electrical properties make it a strong candidate material for EMI/RFI shielding, with over 100 dB attenuation. BeCu offers maximum spring properties for strength and fatigue resistance, as well as long life without compression set.

Mounting options include Snap-on, Stick-on, Clip-on, Track, extrusion, welding, and soldering. A variety of in-house plating options keeps lead times short. In addition, Quick Delivery Programs are in place for both clean & bright and tin-plated standard and configured products to support urgent requirements.

An optional DiamondBack (dB) textured surface for high-frequency applications is available. Standard gaskets can also be modified minimizing the cost of producing custom gaskets.

Free gasket samples are available at www.tech-etch.com/shield/shieldlit.html. Tech-Etch, Inc. manufactures a complete line of standard and custom shielding products for both the commercial and military markets. Visit www.tech-etch.com/shield to download a 52-page interactive Shielding Catalog in PDF form with direct links to the sales drawings.
