Two-stage op amp used as comparator; differing results – I am implementing my two-stage op amp (with a compensating capacitor) as a comparator in my analog circuit. I run process corners TT, FF, and FS, and my analog circuit output is good but not in SF and SS. When I remove the compensating capacitor, the output is good in SF and SS, while not in TT, FF, and FS. Any explanation? Or do I need to redesign? Read more.

Opinion regarding layout detail – Which of these two ways to connect the drain and gate of a mosfet (for an inverter chain) is more advisable: orange or white? Read more. analog IC tips 3 11 2015 2

How to include BSIM CMG109 library files in Hspice Code – Can anyone help me to develop a code for SRAM in Hspice by using FinFET technology?I have BSIM CMG and IMG models but don’t know how to develop code. Read more.

CMOS reference circuits for high-frequency circuits – What are the issues that we must take into consideration in designing reference circuits (voltage and current) for high frequency circuits? Read more.

Output voltage swing of two-stage, fully differential opamp –  I have designed a two-stage, fully differential opamp and have theoretically calculated output swing. It is coming in at 172mV to 945mV. The power supply is 1.2V in 65nm technology. To check voltage swing in simulation, I have connected the opamp like a buffer. The input sweeps from 0 to vdd but output is not tracking input at all.
