Ferrite inductors for general circuit use

June 3, 2016 By Abby Esposito Leave a Comment

KEMET
Ferrite inductors are a natural complement to KEMET’s capacitor core competency. Capacitors and inductors work together in various parts of electronic circuits.

KEMET, a global supplier of electronic components, has boosted its solutions capabilities by adding high-quality ferrite inductors to its expanding line of passive electronic components.

Ferrite inductors are a natural complement to KEMET’s capacitor core competency. Capacitors and inductors work together in various parts of electronic circuits. They can be used in electronic filters and in power distribution networks, which can be found in nearly all classes of electronic systems.

The ferrite inductors joining the KEMET portfolio are based on a proprietary nickel-zinc magnetic material and are RoHS compliant. These leaded devices are widely used throughout industrial and consumer applications such as LED lighting, smart meters, home appliances, smoke detectors and alarm systems.

KEMET now offers several ranges of inductors including metal composite power inductors, surface mount inductors and AC line filters. These products have been made available as part of a Private Label Agreement with NEC TOKIN.
