USB/Ethernet 2SP6T switch matrices work
from DC to 12 GHz

December 8, 2015 By Lee Teschler Leave a Comment

The RC-2SP6T-A12 USB/Ethernet-controlled dual SP6T switch matrix provides 2 RF inputs and 12 outputs, allowing a variety of different switch configurations to meet your signal routing needs. The unit from Mini-Circuits contains 2 electromechanical SP6T switches in a single case, operating from DC to 12 GHz with 0.2 dB insertion loss, 90 dB isolation, and extra-long switching life, qualified to 100-million switch cycles.

switch matrixThe switch matrix is controlled by USB or Ethernet (supporting HTTP and Telnet protocols) and comes supplied with Mini-Circuits’ user-friendly GUI software for Windows® systems, allowing easy signal path management and automated switching sequences. DLLs for Windows® and Linux® are also included, so you can control the switch matrix through your native test software. See application note AN-49-001 for a complete list of compatible third party software and programming environments.

This model is designed into a rugged metal housing small enough to fit in your laptop case (5.5 x 6.0 x 2.75 in.). It features SMA-F connectors and LED indicators on the front panel, indicating the state of each switch. It even provides built-in switch cycle counters with automatic calibration interval alerts, improving reliability and saving maintenance costs over time. The switch matrix comes supplied with an AC/DC +24VDC power adaptor, AC power cord, USB cable, RJ45 cable, and a CD containing Mini-Circuits’ easy-to-install GUI, and DLLs for 32- and 64-bit Windows and Linux environments.
