Quick-Fit PCB tabs come on continuous reel

January 16, 2019 By Lee Teschler Leave a Comment

New continuous reel (strip) packaging for Quick-Fit, male tab PCB terminals makes them compatible with standard automated insertion equipment – reducing assembly and processing time.

Manufactured from brass with tin-plate, these new Quick-Fit Terminals ensure easy installation and soldering to a PCB and are packaged on reels as a “drop-in” replacement for existing keystone tabsproducts.

Request Cat. No: 1287-R for ¼-in.-wide Male Tabs with 0.312-in. height above the board. For a terminal with additional solder joint strength and designed to keep the terminal perpendicular to the board during and after soldering, request Cat. No: 1287-STR. For taller tab requirements, request Cat. No: 1289-STR which is 0.540-in. height above the board. Availability is from stock through Keystone’s global distribution network. Online ordering is accommodated.

Keystone is a leading manufacturer of THM and SMT terminals and test points, as well as battery and fuse hardware, along with an extensive array of electronic interconnects and hardware. In addition, application engineering services are provided to meet special product modifications or custom designs with active stamping, machining and assembly support.

Keystone is ISO-9001:2015 certified and RoHS, REACH compliant with USA headquarters and offices in Canada, Europe, Australia and Asia. For further details and to request literature contact (800) 221-5510, or (516) 328-7500, Fax (516) 328-1080; Email: kec@keyelco.com or view www.keyelco.com
